Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology (Dr AIT), Bangalore is an autonomous engineering institute founded by Late Shri M H Jayaprakash Narayan in the year 1980. The institute is governed by Panchajanya Vidya Peetha Welfare Trust. It is among 15 institutes that receive funds from World Bank under TEQIP. The Institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology has signed MoU with various industries to provide industrial exposure to the students. It provides various graduate and post graduate course in engineering field.
